2024 Summer Workforce Development

All THAT provides both training and work experience for students.  We ensure that students develop work ethic and soft skills needed to succeed.  Our summer program offers academic enrichment that allows students to complete courses needed to meet graduation requirements.
All THAT is now enrolling teens ages 14 - 18 to participate in our Workforce Development Academy between June 10th and August 1st.  Our program is designed to prepare students to enter and succeed in the twenty-first century job market.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided daily by the Columbus Recreation and Parks Department.

Students must attend the entire day Monday through Thursday between 8:30am - 2:30pm or 9:30 am - 3:30pm in order to receive their stipend for the day.  Stipends will begin at $20 per day for 13 - 15 year olds and $25 per day for 16 - 18 year olds and increase progressively over the eight week program.

Students are paid their weekly stipend via direct deposit for active engagement, positive attitudes and consistent attendance.

Workshops for CPR/First Aid, OSHA10 and exploratory field trips into the community that are held on Thursdays may require students to attend between 8:30 and 4:30pm.  An outline will be provided during mandatory orientation.

Both parents and students are required to attend orientation in order for NEW students to participate in our summer program.

We offer seven (7) tracks that expose students to careers and task based activities that inspire them to begin narrowing down their career choices. Teens ages 16 and older, may be assigned to our Transitional Living track where they complete online driver’s education training and qualify for paid in-car driver's training.  All THAT will only pay for in-car portion when students obtain their certificate of completion and submit their 50-hour affidavit signed by a parent or guardian.

Our program emphasizes project-based, character-building experiences so that students build self-confidence and reimagine their future. Students tour local businesses and colleges, prepare resumes and participate in mock-interviews with local business leaders.

The following six career tracks are being offered at this time:
